DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE SEPT 7  2024\n\nThe Tidewater Chapter is holding its 2024 Street Survival driving event for our area teenage drivers on Sept 7th  ( the second day\, the 8th\, has been cancelled due to low participation levels)\nThe primary emphasis of Street Survival® is a “hands-on” driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars\, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. SUMMARY:Annual OBX Drive
DESCRIPTION:Get out your best Hawaiian shirt or your summer club attire and bring along your flip flops (we don’t recommend you drive with them on). It’s time to take our annual drive down to North Carolina’s Outer Banks. \nAs usual\, we will meet at the Border Station parking lot in Moyock\, NC (100 Caratoke HWY- Rt 168) at 9:30 am. Drive will commence at 10:00 am with our hosts Linda and Bill.  Our journey will take us south \, traveling from Moyock\, through to the Outer Banks Visitor Center\, for a brief stop\, then a pleasant ride to Duck\, NC. \nWe will stop for lunch is the Sunset Grille & Raw Bar 1264 Duck Road\, Duck NC 27949. https://fishbonessunsetgrille.com/ The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore\, beach it \, or head home. \nClick on Flip Flops to RSVP
