SUMMARY:Dragon Drive 2025

DESCRIPTION:Sunday Nov 6th OBX Drive\nIt’s that time of year to put on your windbreakers and join us for this year’s Fall Outer Banks Drive II.   \nOur drive will start at 10:00 at Border Station\, 100 Caratoke Hwy (NC 168)\, Moyock\, NC 27958 — please arrive at 10am.\n\nWe’ll convoy to the Outer Banks over the Caratoke Bridge and  proceed on a short drive and end up in Kill Devil Hills at the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Museum. There is a fee of $10.00 per person ( children 15 and younger are free). This is a really historic site and the exhibits\, both inside and outside are extensive.\nAt 12:30\, we’ll leave and continue on for lunch at the Black Pelican Restaurant(\, 3848 N Virginia Dare Trail\, Kitty Hawk\, NC 27949 ( https://www.blackpelican.com/ )\, where we hope to be seated in the original Life Saving part of the building\, which played a part in the Wright Brothers first flight\, both as a weather station and also a telegraph office from which the message of the first successful airplane flight was sent. \nRSVP \nPLEASE BRING A NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM TO DONATE TO FOODBANK
